Electrika is the UK's only dedicated electric narrowboat show, returning for its third edition in Rugby. This event, which has quickly established itself as the essential gathering for those interested in electric propulsion on the UK's canal and river networks, is set to take place at Brinklow Waterside & Marina. With the increasing interest in sustainable boating, Electrika aims to support the transition to electric propulsion, showcasing a variety of new electric narrowboats and providing a platform for existing boat owners considering conversion to electric. Electrika 2026 promises to be an enriching experience, featuring an extensive list of boat builders and exhibitors, a fleet of showboats on the water, and entertainment on both nights. The event is designed to facilitate knowledge sharing and real-life experiences among early adopters, manufacturers, and potential new owners. With a visitor capacity of 1000, the show is free to enter, but ticket reservations are required due to limited availability of 500 spaces per day. Attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets only if they are certain of their attendance. This year also introduces a limited number of camping pitches for tents and motorhomes, available on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring visitors have a comfortable stay while they explore the exciting world of electric boating. Electrika will feature leading manufacturers and distributors of electric propulsion systems and ancillary equipment, who will be available to answer questions about their products. It aims to bring together existing electric narrowboat owners with potential buyers and boat builders to share invaluable insights into electric boating. The event is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leads, and there will be food and drink stands available on-site. However, those with specific dietary needs are encouraged to bring their own refreshments. Attendees who wish to moor their boats at Brinklow Marina should book their visitor mooring early, as space is limited. Electrika 2026 is not only a showcase of innovative technology but also an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the advancements in sustainable boating.
