展会简介
The Processing of Silicone Rubber seminar, organized by the VDI Association of German Engineers, will take place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany. This seminar aims to provide mechanical engineers with a comprehensive understanding of the properties and processing techniques for silicone rubber, which is becoming increasingly vital in various sectors including medical technology, automotive, and consumer electronics.Attendees will gain in-depth insights into the characteristics of both solid and liquid silicone rubber, exploring its excellent processability and physiological harmlessness. The seminar will cover a range of topics, including current testing techniques for comprehensive characterization of mechanical and physical properties, various processing options, and real-world application examples from industry and research. Participants will learn about injection molding of solid and liquid silicone rubber, including comparisons with thermoplastic injection molding, multi-component injection molding, and testing methods for elastomers. Additionally, the seminar will discuss market and research trends related to silicone rubber.Dr.-Ing. Ralf-Urs Giesen, the Managing Director of UNIpace at the University of Kassel, will lead the seminar. He has extensive experience in plastics and process engineering, having worked in the field since 2009 and specializing in various aspects of plastics engineering. His expertise will provide attendees with valuable insights into the interrelationships between machine, tool, and process control necessary for producing high-quality injection-molded parts. The seminar will cater to mechanical engineers and is expected to draw participants from diverse regions, including Pakistan, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam, and Germany.
