The Roseville Rock Rollers Gem and Mineral Society proudly presents the 64th Annual Gem, Jewelry, Fossil, and Mineral Show, a much-anticipated event held at @the Grounds in Roseville, California. This annual celebration invites rock enthusiasts, gem collectors, and curious minds alike to explore the captivating world of gems, minerals, fossils, and the art of lapidary. It promises a weekend filled with discovery, learning, and family-friendly fun, catering to both seasoned hobbyists and newcomers alike. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of exhibitors, including notable names like Volcanic Bomb, Deep Pockets Rocks & Minerals, Tektites MeteorWrongs, and the Sierra College Natural History Museum, showcasing their unique offerings that will captivate collectors and casual visitors alike.During the show, participants can engage in live demonstrations by experienced lapidary artists, gem cutters, and mineralogists who will share their expertise on cutting and polishing stones. A special highlight will be the silent auction where unique minerals and handcrafted jewelry can be bid on, offering a chance to take home one-of-a-kind pieces while supporting the Society. Families with young rock enthusiasts will find an exciting area dedicated to educational activities and interactive exhibits, ensuring a fun and enriching experience for children. Additional features include a raffle with chances to win rare gems and jewelry, as well as opportunities for attendees to have their mystery minerals identified by Society member Jim Hutchings. This event is not only a celebration of the earth sciences but also plays a vital role in supporting the Roseville Rock Rollers Gem and Mineral Society's mission of promoting education and appreciation of lapidary arts.
